Over 200 years ago, we enshrined the rule of law as the only monarch in America. Tomorrow, the Senate will likely vote to shred that precedent. Democrats, «compromising» with Republicans, will act together, in a bipartisan fashion, to destroy your right to be free from search without a warrant.

Poor Americans. It looks like the Bush Republican White House is going to do everything in it's power to undermine the fundamental rights and freedoms of the American people while no one seems to particularly care.

Ignorance in such a powerful country is particularly scary.

We landed in Bodo, Norway yesterday evening after a few bumps from flights in Oslo. I didn't even think about it but Bodo is a ways above the Arctic Circle, meaning that now we get Midnight Sun which given clear skies would be wild to see.

I'm looking forward to heading out to the conference, it'll be good to see the Crestock Stock Photo guys, get some work done and planning for the upcoming year in addition to maybe seeing the Northern Lights!
